马锋,1980年生,历史学博士、西北大学历史学院副教授,西北大学叙利亚研究中心研究员。研究方向:5-6世纪罗马—拜占庭帝国政治史、军事史、外交史、学术史;中世纪叙利亚和丝绸之路(西亚)研究。主持教育部哲学社会科学研究重大课题攻关项目子课题一项,参与或主持其它国家级和省部级项目十余项。先后在《世界历史》《史学月刊》《古代文明》《中南大学学报》《西南大学学报》《西北大学学报》《外国问题研究》《中东问题研究》等高水平学术期刊发表论文十余篇。曾获2021年度陕西高校人文社会科学研究优秀成果奖二等奖,2022年度西安市哲学社会科学研究成果奖一等奖(省部级)。
Ma Feng, born in 1980, holds a Ph.D in History. He is an associate professor at the School of History at Northwest University and a researcher at the Syria Research Center at Northwest University. His research directions are political history, military history, diplomatic history, and academic history of the Roman Byzantine Empire from the 5th to 6th centuries; research on Middle Ages Syria and the Silk Road (West Asia). He hosted one sub project of the major philosophical and social science research project of the Ministry of Education, and participated in and led more than ten other national and provincial level projects. He has published over ten papers in high-level academic journals such as World History, Journal of Historical Science, The Journal of Ancient Civilizations, Journal of Central South University, Journal of Southwest University, Journal of Northwest University, Research on Foreign Issues, and Research on the Middle East. He has won the second prize of the Outstanding Achievement Award for Humanities and Social Sciences Research in Shaanxi Universities in 2021, and the first prize of the Xi'an Philosophy and Social Sciences Research Achievement Award in 2022 (at the provincial and ministerial level).
