曹若男，西北大学外国语学院院长、西北大学区域国别研究院副院长、教授、硕士生导师。美国加州大学尔湾分校访问学者。西北大学叙利亚研究中心特约研究员。主要研究方向应用语言学及区域国别学。主持教育部人文社科基金、陕西省社科界重大理论与现实问题研究等科研项目十余项，主持陕西高等教育教学改革研究项目等教学项目十余项，发表各类学术论文30余篇。荣获陕西省教学成果奖二等奖、陕西省研究生外语教学成果奖一等奖、西北大学教学成果奖一、二等奖，全国大学英语教学大赛陕西赛区一等奖等各类教学奖励十余项，作为负责人获批陕西省课程思政示范课程和教学团队。作为独立发明人获批国家实用新型专利2项。担任高校国别和区域研究人才培养院系联盟常务理事、陕西高等学校大学外语教学研究会副会长。

Cao Ruonan, serves as Dean, Professor, and Master's Supervisor of the School of Foreign Languages at Northwest University. She is also a visiting scholar at the University of California, Irvine, USA and a special researcher of Syria Research Center at Northwest University. Her main research interests include applied linguistics and regional ethnography. She has hosted 10 scientific research projects, including the Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of the Ministry of Education and the Research on Major Theoretical and Realistic Issues in the Social Science Community of Shaanxi Province and more than 10 teaching projects including the Shaanxi Higher Education Teaching Reform Research Project. Thus, she has published over 30 academic papers of various types. She has won more than 10 teaching awards including the Second Prize of the Shaanxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, First Prize of Shaanxi Province Graduate Foreign Language Teaching Achievement Award, First and Second Prizes of Northwest University Teaching Achievement Award, and First Prize in Shaanxi Division of the National College English Teaching Competition. As the head, her team has been approved for the Shaanxi Provincial Curriculum Ideological and Political Demonstration Course and Teaching Team. She has been granted two national utility model patents as an independent inventor. She serves as the Executive Director of the National and Regional Research Talent Training Alliance of Universities and the Vice President of the College Foreign Language Teaching and Research Association of Shaanxi Higher Education Institutions.
