刘昌玉，1984年生，浙江师范大学人文学院历史系教授，博士生导师，德国海德堡大学博士毕业，西北大学叙利亚研究中心特约研究员。主要研究领域为世界古代史（亚述学）。主持、参与国家社科基金4项，省部级7项。出版中外文著作5部，在国内外发表论文30余篇。入选浙江省高校领军人才培养计划、之江青年社科学者、钱江人才计划。美国加州大学洛杉矶分校“楔形文字数字图书馆”项目助理、浙江大学人文高等研究院驻访学者。

Liu Changyu, born in 1984, serves as Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the Department of History at the School of Humanities, Zhejiang Normal University. He graduated with a Ph.D from the University of Heidelberg in Germany and is a guest researcher of Syria Research Center at Northwest University. His main research field is ancient world history (Asian narratology). He hosted and participated in 4 national social science funds and 7 provincial and ministerial level projects. He has published 5 works in both Chinese and foreign languages, and has published over 30 papers both domestically and internationally. He has been selected for the Zhejiang Provincial Leading Talent Training Program, Zhijiang Youth Social Science Scholar, and Qianjiang Talent Program. He is an assistant for the "Wedge Digital Library" project at the University of California, Los Angeles, United States and a resident scholar Institute for Advanced Study in Humanities and Social Sciences at Zhejiang University.
